Overview
Boozilee for ALZ is an annual community-driven fundraising event benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association – Central & Western Kansas Chapter, created to raise awareness, provide education, and build connection for families navigating Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Now entering its third year, Boozilee for ALZ began as a small backyard gathering with a big heart and quickly grew into a signature local event due to strong community support and an unmet need for accessible resources and connection. In its first year, the event welcomed 70 attendees and raised $5,000. In year two, attendance more than doubled and the event raised nearly $8,000, with every dollar staying local to support families, caregivers, and education efforts in Central and Western Kansas.
Hosted at The Atreeum, a greenhouse venue that has generously donated its space, Boozilee for ALZ offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere designed to make everyone feel included—whether they are personally impacted by Alzheimer’s, supporting a loved one, or simply wanting to give back. The event features live music, drinks, local partners, raffles and silent auction items, and meaningful moments that celebrate community while honoring the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association.
At its core, Boozilee for ALZ is about community, awareness, and impact. The goal is not only to raise funds, but to create a space where people feel supported, informed, and connected—while showing that together, with the help of sponsors, partners, and attendees, the impact can continue to grow year after year.
With continued support, Boozilee for ALZ is positioned to raise more funds, reach more families, and deepen its local impact, ensuring resources and hope remain available for those facing Alzheimer’s in our community.
