The movie stays in its original format, centered on the Dome and projected as large as possible before the curve of the screen would begin to warp the image. Stretching the film across the entire 60-foot Dome would distort it until the picture became nearly unrecognizable. And all that movie motion sweeping across your entire field of vision? That’s a pretty good recipe for motion sickness.
