About This Event
Wichita State University Advanced Movie Screening of SOBER
The Phoenix, Lead Wichita and Suspenders4Hope are hosting an advanced screening of SOBER Wednesday, October 28 at the Campus Activities Center Theater at Wichita State University. The new, yet-to-be-released feature-length documentary follows Phoenix staff, volunteers, and members in Los Angeles who have risen from the ashes of addiction, proving that recovery is about far more than getting sober—it's about reclaiming joy, strength, purpose, and connection.
At its core, the film tells the story of a movement born from the belief that when we lift others, we lift ourselves. In that spirit, we're honored to bring together not only Phoenix volunteers and supporters, but also leaders, advocates, and partners from across the recovery ecosystem. Because ending this epidemic will take all of us, working together.
This screening is free, with complimentary pizza and mocktails provided between 5:30 and 6:30. Please RSVP at Wichita State University Screening of SOBER · Luma
