About
The Kansas Aviation Museum is housed in the original Wichita Municipal Airport Terminal Building, a beautifully preserved art deco structure that once welcomed aviation legends like Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart. The museum chronicles the growth and development of general aviation in Kansas, with a particular focus on Wichita's pivotal role as the "Air Capital" of the United States.
Inside, you'll find a world-class collection of historic and one-of-a-kind aircraft and engines, including notable planes like a 1927 Swallow and a 1931 Stearman Model 4D. The museum also features twelve additional aircraft displayed on the outdoor ramp. One
